Luciano Vistosi's “Totem”, a spectacular sculpture consisting of 2,000 pieces of sparkling glass, stands proudly at the center of the ms Maasdam’s three-story atrium, which exudes a stately, cosmopolitan air and is a great place to relax and socialize.

The atrium is a three-story open space that features a staircase connecting the three levels. The centerpiece of the room is a 2,000-piece glass chandelier that spans the height of the three stories. On each level there is a variety of seating options including arm chairs and bench seating. This top level connects to several shopping and convenience outlets.
